The success of an enterprise is often colligated to the rationality of its business model. The second session being based on the theme ‘Business Models’ strived to elucidate the relevance of this fact to the evolving and dynamic telecom sector of India.

The session commenced with the opening address of the session chair, Mr Rishi Raj (Associate Editor, The Financial Express), who stressed on the need for new business models for Indian Telecom Companies due to near saturation of voice based growth that they witnessed in the past two decades. Citing the Google - Airtel collaboration Mr A Sethuraman from Huawei Technologies, accentuated the number of opportunities that existed in this sector for innovation. “India needs a nation-wide model that can help telecom sector to suffice to the requirements of all consumer segments” said Mr. Ristimaki
