The session highlighted the need to focus on the building blocks of telecom sector viz. regulations & equipment manufacturing. “Both these areas need a lot of attention and that too in quick time” said the session chair Prof. Ravi Shankar.
Everyone reached a consensus highlighting the need for Research & Development in telecom sector to facilitate sustainable growth and making India a global hub. The session concluded with a presentation, where students showcased their genuine research work in the area of telecom policies and regulations.
